Details: Fabulous II can be made with your fabulous big print fabrics! Teachers (and sisters) Barbara Persing & Mary Hoover will be teaching Fabulous II, from their book "StrataVarious Quilts". This class will be fun for all levels of quilters. And it can be made with any fat quarters that you have been collecting and didn't know what quilt they would go in! What a fabulous idea!
Topic: VARIABLE STAR

Details: Donna Ruppert of "Piecing the Past", will be teaching the Variable Star workshop based on her favorite antique quilt but using modern piecing methods for speed, ease, and accuracy. This class can be a project class and a process class. You will be making a stunning project (which could range from doll size to bed size) and you will be improving your skills with the process. Sounds like a fun class for all of us! She will have many samples on display for inspiration while we learn how fabric placement and choices and block setting, change the look of the stars from quilt to quilt.
Topic: A Machine Applique Class

Details: Oriental Expressions is Karen's newest Machine Applique Class. While sewing on this 12" block, you will learn many machine applique techniques, including perfect circles, perfect points, perfect stems, and what Karen refers to as the "tricky shapes". You will also learn reverse applique and how to make covered cording. Come have a fun day ap-pliqueing the Karen Kay Buckley way!
Topic: English Paper Piecing

Details: Jeanne Tron will be teaching us how to ENGLISH PAPER PIECE a "Star Dresden Plate" block! Many blocks can be pieced using the English Paper Piecing method. Come and learn another fun way to hand piece a block.
