2008 Quiltfest:
Quilt Fest 2008 was held in conjunction with Foundry Days in Boiling Springs, PA. There were over 170 quilted pieces on display, quilting demonstrations, great vendors, and amazing raffles. The quilted displays were created by members of the LeTort Quilters Guild from individuals that are nationally known to the casual quilter that may be participating in their first exhibit.

2008 Quiltfest

Several Le Tort Quilters worked on Blooming Nine Patch projects together.

In addition to the beautiful quilts on display, Quilt Fest 2008 also included:

• Book Signing - Sieglinda Schoen Smith signed her book "Mother Earth and Her Children" based on her award winning quilt.
• Quilt Appraisals - Certified quilt appraisals were provided by Liz Kisielewsky (there is a small fee). Bring your antique, contemportary or art quilts.
• Quilt Vendors - Many quilt and sewing vendors were at the show.
• Quilting Demonstrations - Guild members taught techniques and tricks in quilting.
